Marcela C. Perticara

Marcela Perticara is a labor economics specializing in gender and inequality issues. Since 2002 she has hold a full time position at ILADES-Universidad Alberto Hurtado. She got her Ph.D. in Economics at Texas A&M University. Her areas of interest are development economics and impact evaluation methodologies. Most of her research is focused on gender disparities, childcare issues and inequality in education. She has presented his research at seminars and conferences both nationally and internationally. She has also served in several governmental advisory board/committees and academic grant and fellowship review boards.
